Getting started with Telerik Reporting is a straightforward process:

1. Download and install Telerik Reporting.

2. Run the MSI installation file.

3. In the Customization dialog of the Wizard, click Examples Setup to set the examples and the used connection string. The examples use the MS SQL Server AdventureWorks database which you will need later for the report.

4. In the Samples Database Setup dialog of the Wizard, select your Database Server and the authentication for the connection. The Wizard detects all running instances and lists them in the input field.

5. On each subsequent dialog that the Wizard will render, click Install and select Next until the installation is completed.
